New Handheld Devices for 2019!
Introducing new rugged tablets to perform DPAS functions on the go! Now you can perform your work at your workstation and avoid all those hours printing sheets, writing down information, and going back to a desk to do mindless data entry. Don’t even start to worry about breaking it, these tablets are built for the harshest environments out there. With these configurable devices you can create the perfect tool for your business need, just make sure you have an integrated or snap on CAC reader and you will be fully equipped to run DPAS in the palm of your hands. You said you want to scan things too? That you’re tired of lugging around a hand scanner with annoying wires? Get a bar code reader integrated to fully optimize DPAS capabilities where scan fields are present.
COMING SOON – DPAS is working to provide an application for CAC authenticated users to conduct inventories online or offline! Whether it’s your standard PC, Tablet, or Mobile device, you’ll be able to pull up the app whenever you need to start capturing data, save it, and load it to DPAS. Check back in for updates on a release date and potentially other exciting news coming!

Printer Issues: Since the deployment of Release 2.6.0, label printers attached to Internet Explorer 8 machines have been affected. This is due to the release of new code which supports Internet Explorer 10 and 11. The fix is to change the beginning and ending sequence defined in the print driver. This can be accomplished by performing the following steps:
Start menu > Devices and Printers > Right Click on the correct Print Driver > Left Click on Print Preferences > Select the Advanced tab > Select the Other button towards the bottom of the page > Under the Commands section, Change the Start sequence to $% > Under the Commands section, Change the End sequence to %$ > Select the Close button > Apply and OK.
For detailed instruction, please view this RefDoc.
RFID NOTE: The Zebra R110Xi 203 dpi and the RZ400 203 dpi are the ONLY RFID supported printer in DPAS. All other printers listed are not RFID printers.
