ICP

01754 - SSAVIE INTERFACE

Module: ICP
What Changed:
DPAS has expanded its capabilities in its interface with the SSAVIE system to include the following functions:
    • Generates a Prepositioned Materiel Receipt (PMR) for SSAVIE 511R (Requisition) received
    • 856S Shipment Status will now be sent to SSAVIE customer via GEX file exchange
    • 527-R Materiel Release Acknowledgment (MRA) record will be pushed to SSAVIE via GEX file
    • Receive a MRA in SSAVIE and closeout the in-transit in ICP
    • Provide 869C (Cancellation) feature to and from SSAVIE
    • Provide 511M (modification) feature to and from SSAVIE
    • Provide 869A (Request for status) to and from SSAVIE
    • Provide 869F (Follow-up) to and from SSAVIE

The Originating Problem:
USSOCOM currently uses the Special Operations Asset Visibility Information Exchange (SSAVIE) system to support requisitions from SOF customers for non-standard items that cannot be cataloged by NSN.
MARSOC and USASOC units use systems that do not allow for requisition of non-standard SOF items using their parent service systems.
USSOCOM requires the ability to take in requests from SSAVIE customers, and transmit the requests into a DLMS format to DPAS as a 511-R requisition, as well as the ability to provide customer supply status/advice back to the requisitioner using the SSAVIE system.

Impact:
This impacts all users within SOCOM's agency that are not implementing DPAS at the tactical level.

MU

01808 - MAM / Bulk Edit

Module: MU
Related to: SCR 01808
What Changed:

The mass edit functionality to all applicable fields within the MAM process is available again.

The Originating Problem:
The DPAS modernization initially provided for the user to input 3 parameters when mass profiling assets within the Maintenance Asset Master process.
The capability to mass profile all fields that the previous version of the Maintenance Asset Master process had needs to be implemented.

Impact:
This functionality impacts all users as it revives the mass edit functionality that existed prior to the tech refreshed version of MAM.

Warehouse

01572 - Disposition / Remaining Enhancements

Module: Warehouse
Related to: SCR 01572
What Changed:
Within the new Disposition page and Inventory Master Selection pages:
  • Added a Stock Number Browse to the Stock Number fields in the Search Criteria.

  • The Document Turn-In number (DTID) field is editable up until the document has been disposed/cancelled.
  • Restriction of access to the old Disposition page; URL redirect from the old URL to the new page.

The Originating Problem:
This is the final clean-up of the modernized Disposition process screen.
There is remaining functionality needed in regards to scan functionality, but this control is being worked as part of another, active effort and will be updated within Disposition, when the new control is completed and ready to deploy.

Impact:
Users have more functionality:
  • To search for materiel to be disposed.
  • The flexibility to acquire and update DLA's DTID field at any time within the process.
  • The redirect makes the older screen obsolete, therefore preventing data/functionality issues caused by using both screens interchangeably.
