System Change Details

Catalog

01659 - Stock Nbr AUD / Modifications to improve user access to update catalog data

Module: Catalog
What Changed:

Bulk Stock Numbers will not have the fields enabled.
Part B Stock Numbers are not included.

For Serial Stock Numbers ONLY.

Change CAGE Req, Contract Req or Lot Req  from Not Required to Required - NO ICN's
  • The screen displays required inputs for CAGE Required, Contract Required, or Lot Required.

Change CAGE Req, Contract Req or Lot Req  from Not Required to Required - ICN's exist

  • The screen disables inputs for CAGE Required, Contract Required, or Lot Required.

Change from Required to Not Required

  • Users will be able to uncheck the CAGE Required, Contract Required, or Lot Required.

The Originating Problem:
CAGE Required / Contract Required / Lot Required - These three fields are the main sources for our data script requests, and currently are locked down due to the necessity of rollup logic when it is associated to bulk stock. To allow us a bit more flexibility until we can implement rollup functionality, we can enable the checkboxes when the stock is serially managed.

Impact:
Allows users increased flexibility when updating catalog data preventing the necessity to log data fix requests through the help desk.

Mobile Platform

01842 - Incorporate pRFID into the (unplanned) Materiel Movement process

Module: Mobile Platform
What Changed:

The Materiel Movement (unplanned) process now supports pRFID identification of assets, locations, and containers.

The Originating Problem:
This is new functionality - not all processes support pRFID identification.

Impact:
This change allows users utilizing pRFID to identify assets, locations, or containers for unplanned moves within the warehouse.

Warehouse

01788 - Inventory location parameters

Module: Warehouse
01788 - Physical Inventory / Provide the ability to create inventories by location range

What Changed:

Added the option to enter a Location range when adding a Physical Inventory that selects locations in alphabetical order.

The Originating Problem:
Users must select each location individually when performing an Inventory by Location. This potentially requires users to input hundreds of individual locations when inventorying multiple bins, rows, or cabinets.

Impact:
Users may continue using the existing Location Multi-Select, or use the new Location Range.
